2026/2027 Affiliation Requirements |
Dear Club,
As part of the 2026/27 affiliation, all clubs must have a trained Club Welfare Officer.
This means that they have:
- Attended the free online CWO workshop
- Completed a Badminton England DBS check where required (clubs with under 18s)
Demand is expected to increase closer to affiliation so we encourage you to book early. To support this, we’re offering an incentive for workshops completed before the end of July:
- 1st prize: £200 club grant
- 2nd prize: Free 2026/27 affiliation (based on the current club size)
- 3rd prize: £50 Amazon voucher (for attending CWO)
There will also be a separate prize draw for clubs already meeting the requirements so no one misses out.
